RICHMOND — Gov. Bob McDonnell proposes to fund an extension of passenger rail service from Lynchburg to Roanoke as part of the transportation bill he’s asking the General Assembly to approve.
Improvements to U.S. 460 and Greenview Drive in Lynchburg would receive funds if state lawmakers support McDonnell’s road-and-tax proposal.
More than a dozen smaller projects in the region also are on the list McDonnell’s office distributed Tuesday.
